The Active School Flag (ASF) is a Department of Education and Skills (DES) initiative designed to recognise schools that strive to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community. Vicarstown National School is committed to offering it's pupils a wide range of sporting activities. During Active Schools Week, all of the pupils walked the last kilometer to school together. The party was flanked by an escort from the local Gardaí. The children really enjoyed the experience!
