Our 5th and 6th class Junior and Entrepreneurs used the profits from their very successful, 'Vicarstown's Vault of Secret Recipes' cookbook to visit UCC for a Junior Conferring and Zip-It in Farran Woods. It was well deserved treat for all of their hard work!

Tennis lessons began today for children in all classes. They went down very well with all ages and will continue right up until the holiday, every Thursday.

It has been a busy week for Vicarstown NS. We had a superb night last Friday 13th May in The Blarney Golf Resort. The school was marking a special 50 Year Anniversary with a Social Night. The night was thoroughly enjoyed by the 130 school community members in attendance. We had stories and song from the past and lovely insights from our present pupils. The pictures and videos will be up this week, watch this space!

Also, the school was delighted to accept its 2nd Green School Flag for Energy. It was accepted by Green Schools coordinator, Mrs. Eileen O'Sullivan and Committee members Colman Ahern and Caoimhe Jones. Well done to all the children and staff for the great effort!

We are delighted with our new playground markings. It was a lovely surprise for all the children this morning! This is the first part of our Matehy 4 Mile Race funds being put to use. More to follow in coming weeks.
