We were over the moon with the announcement that Vicarstown NS were awarded the Global Water Explorers of the Week. The Green Schools Committee are invited to the 2017 National Water Explorer Awards Ceremony in Dublin as we are among the top 5 Water Explorers Schools in Ireland.  The Team will travel to Dublin on 17th of May, Well done to our Green School Committee members and good luck at the Award Ceremony!

Well done to our pigeon rescue team who helped "Fluffy Feathers" to go back home.  The pigeon took up residence outside the school on Wednesday, she was exhausted and lost.  Upon further investigation we were able to track the pigeon's owner down using the Irish Homing Union's website.  The girls from 5th & 6th class pictured above took great care of the bird and she will be travelling back to Wexford this evening by car in style.
